New Employee Orientation

I learned how to use the AutoContent wizard, and select the things that are being asked and how to replace text that is aleady there with new text. it was a pretty simple and easy lesson, and how to change the subtiles and things like that.

MembershipInformation

what i learned today about membership Informaton was that in 1996 five ohio university students spent summer vacation working at the Cedar Point Ammusment park after the park closed at night they would get on all of the rides for free.
Then NARCE was founded in1996. NARCE is to promote appreciation,knowledge,and enjoyment of roller coasters. The president was Ethan Clements and The Vice president Kieko Isobe, And ever since then it has been growing.

MarketingNARCE

What i learned today about Powerpoint was that you could see the tumbnails slides in different sizes you could make them smaller if you wanted or large enough to see the whole slide on the preview. I also learned how to use the splitter bars and things like that.

Things that i already knew where how to make slides how to add things pictures, The font size,color,and how to change the font style, and how to use the sound effects onto a slide and make up the slides appear from diffrent angles, and do other things.

Powerpoint Vocabulary

1. Presentation- is a formal or an informal report,usually given orally, sometimes called a "speech" or "talk".

2. Thumnails- the slides tabs that contain small size views.

3. Splinter bars- seperate the left, slide, and notes panes in normal view.

4. Title slide-The fist slide of the presentation.

5. Title- The main topic of any slide.

6. Placeholder- a present location reserving space for a slide element.


7. Title area- is a placeholder for the slide's title;

8. Text Area- a placeholder for a subtitle or a numbered or bulleted list;

9. Object area- reserved for objects.

10. Rich Text Format- a file format with the extension.rtf that enables text to be transferred and read by diffrent apllications, such as word.

11. AutoContent Wizard- a tool to help you create a presentation easily with preogrammed layouts,design,and text.

12. Boilerplate text- standard text which is appropriate for that type of presentation.

13.indent level - a number that indicates the indent and importance of the subtitle in relation to the title.

14. promote- decreasing the indent and increasing the type size.

15. demote- a subtitle to a lower level, which increses the indent and reduces the type size.

16. object- which are nontext elements such as charts,tables,clip art,pictures,photos,movie clips, or other types of information.

17. Subtitle- any text that follows the title and gives more detail about the title.
